Hi, my name is Grace, and I started Curio Resins in 2019. I always get asked, "What made you want to start working with epoxy resin?"
My story begins with me as a young woman going into college straight out of High School not knowing what to do, switching my major 5 times, and 4 different colleges, to one day watching a YouTube video on how to make an acorn necklace out of epoxy resin. From that point on, I couldn't stop learning. Every article I read, and video I watched, I kept learning new things about the art medium, and I didn't want to stop. I have always loved working with my hands, and learning knew things to the point where I would pick up any hobby I came across. Consequently, this made me slightly knowledgeable in everything, but an expert in nothing. Working with epoxy resin I discovered that all of my interests can be incorporated in this one artform. My love for nature, my fascination with bones, mythology, and my undying appreciation for Victorian aesthetics, to name a few.
I love everything about being a small business owner, from creating, to marketing, to packaging orders. The best part is I get to interact with people who love the same things as I do. That is why I strive to put my heart and soul into everything I create so you or a loved one can be excited about owning an extraordinary piece that resonates with something you are passionate about.
